Alma de Sedona Inn

The pros are the location (I much prefer West Sedona), the breakfast, having a patio, and the staff. I also really enjoyed the swimming pool, and it was very dark and quiet at night, which I like. The biggest 'con' for me is that I was hoping for a view and yet, Romantic Reflections has shrubbery completely obstructing the mountains behind the Inn. Also, the mattress on the bed is very saggy and needs replacing, the chairs are very uncomfortable, and the AC makes quite a racket. We did enjoy our stay there, however.

Alma de Sedona was a nice stay. The rooms are spacious and it’s so nice to have the ginormous tub, fireplace, porch and sitting area. They provided super cozy robes. I was also thrilled to have a smart tv, I like to put YouTube music on and it was so nice. Breakfast was nice, scheduled 8:30-9:30. I was pleased to know they offer cold breakfast if your timing is poor though I didn’t try it. Then, this place is conveniently located - close to restaurants, cafes, spas. We were also able to walk to lovely hikes and the Stupa park without needing to park!

We had a wonderful time. The staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast was incredibly delicious, and the robes were out of this world! So soft and comfy. Our bed was very comfortable. I’m a side sleeper with a lot of sleeping problems and I found it to be very comfortable with enough pillows. We were amazed to find there was a whole network of hikes just a 10-15 minute walk north of the inn. I love love love Sedona and if I come back we will be staying here again!

This was just a quick getaway for the wife and I. Or room was cool and comfortable. Location was tucked away just enough to feel secluded. Yes the decor is dated but I think that’s just fine. No the kitchenette wasn’t a full one but for a couple of night stay and eating out every meal. We had what we needed. A place for chilling water bottles and a way to make a cup of coffee in the morning. We did not take advantage of the breakfast so we cannot speak to that. This was just a complete break from responsibilities and a great time.

We spent 2 nights, and wished we could stay longer! Our room was comfortable, the fireplace was lovely to have, and the bathroom was well appointed. The robes were also super comfortable. They accommodated our vegan diet, and we had 2 very nice breakfasts. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place to stay. Conveniently located near hiking, restaurants and shopping. Lori, the innkeeper, was very welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. We loved talking to her every morning. Breakfasts at the inn were delicious & beautifully presented. The staff did an incredible job accommodating any special dietary requests. Our room was clean, comfortable & had amazing views. What an incredible place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Quiet beauty and serenity personifies the heart and "soul" of Alma de Sedona Inn. We found the Inn's location to be a perfect place situated between park and ride shuttle areas for some of the most popular hikes, and within easy driving distance to a wide variety of restaurants, and other services such as coffee shops, gas stations, and groceries stores. The breakfasts were deliciously prepared and beautifully presented, the service was spectacular and our host was very welcoming and gracious. The cookies that are available in the afternoon in the breakfast dining area are the best, too! The building layout at the Inn for the separate guest rooms also lend themselves to a quiet ambiance and enjoyment of the Inn's location away from busy streets. The rooms have ample space to enjoy time relaxing either inside or outside on a covered patio, with some seclusion provided by the landscaping layout and design.

The place Breathtaking. It’s about few miles from the hustle of the big touristy spots. Very private and quiet with spectacular sunset views. Lori and staff go out of their way to make guest feel welcome. They have lots of recommendations on tours and restaurants. I had such a great time staying in the Athena Room. It gave me reason and strength and changed my vacation from a “why did I take this trip” to a “thank god I took this trip!” Only thing I wish they had a microwave because dinner in Sedona ends early.
